We are using recycled materials to make art, just in time for everyone to start thinking about "spring cleaning". All those goodies can be turned into art instead of ending up in the trashcan! It is a joy to discover found objects everywhere - stuff that can be turned into wonderful works of art.
"Don't throw that away!" I must say that to my husband at least once a week - says Susan Frey, mixed media artist and chairperson of the exhibition. The LAA gallery will be filled with treasures from reused stuff. Artwork on display will be featuring old CD's, shredded junk mail, zippers, plastic jugs, matches, nuts, bolts, cereal boxes, teabags, and a variety of other household and organic items. Please join the 14 LAA members participating in this whimsical show!
The Stamford Loft Artists Association is a non-profit organization that continues to serve Stamford and the South End area with events and shows to further the public's artistic and cultural exposure. LAA Gallery hours are 12 to 5 pm, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Regular Gallery hours are Friday thru Sunday from 12 - 5 PM. Admission and parking are free and handicapped access is available.
